"Jetty Restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience, especially in terms of ambience and service. I really loved the overall setting—the place has a great vibe, and the live classical music adds a beautiful, calming touch to the evening.
The food was excellent. Both the chicken and fish starters stood out and were very well prepared. The service staff were courteous and attentive, which made the experience even better.
A couple of small improvements could make it perfect: the drinks menu is quite limited, and the service time could be a bit faster.
Overall, it’s a great place to enjoy good food, lovely ambience, and live music while in Fort Kochi."
"We were hungry and the restaurant was extremely busy. The wait was worth it. The menu has a variety of Kerela dishes, other Indian fare and a variety of Italian dishes. We chose the paneer kheema, Alleppey Fish Curry, scallops and tomato. Both with appams. One set of appams were too cooked too high but we didn't bring it to the attention of the staff (We were very hungry). Service was attentive. The rotis and dal were wonderful. Good mocktails and choice of beer.
Since it's the busy season, expect long waits and service related delay."
"We were quite late to arrive and maybe we’d missed the lunch rush, but the staff were patient with our 3pm arrival (kitchen closes at 330) and brought our tasty beverages, appetizers, and meal all hit and fresh.
I have to recommend the fish platter (I was hungry and forgot to take the pic) which serves several.
Overall we got 2 apps, 3 mains, and were quite content, in a lovely atmosphere."
"This is a stylish, upmarket-looking restaurant that sets high expectations, supported by an extensive menu offering both local and international dishes to suit a wide range of tastes. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to those expectations.
Early warning signs appeared when three staff members struggled to take an advance booking. While we were seated the following day, our name was not checked, suggesting limited booking management.
Service was noticeably slow, it took over 20 minutes to receive drinks, and staff seemed more focused on clearing tables that remained empty than attending to seated guests.
The food was mixed but largely underwhelming.
• The masala fried cauliflower was acceptable, though it felt incomplete and would have benefited from an accompanying sauce.
• For mains, the Appeley fish curry was bland, and the appam was overcooked, which was surprising.
• The Kuttanadan prawn curry was more enjoyable and the highlight of the meal.
• Dessert was disappointing: the gulab jamuns lacked the expected richness and texture, and did not compare favourably to others we’ve had elsewhere.
Overall, this was a disappointing visit, particularly given the pricing and the restaurant’s presentation. With improved service and more attention to flavour and execution, it could better match the expectations it sets."
"Food: A great place to explore local vegetarian Kerala entrées. I cannot complain about the food it was enjoyable.
Service: The staff are well trained, friendly and provide fast and efficient service.
Ambience: The paintings on the walls, the book shelves, the outdoor seating along with a live traditional dance performance must paint a picture of this wonderful setting for you."
