"We absolutely loved the sadhya! Even though the place was really crowded when we visited, the staff managed everything smoothly and ensured we were served on time. The sadhya was awesome, and every item tasted authentic and delicious. The only drawback was the parking, as they have very limited space for cars, which can be inconvenient during peak hours."

"Pazhayidam Ruchi isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a flagbearer of Kerala’s authentic vegetarian cuisine, and for good reason. It’s one of those places where tradition meets taste in the most delicious way possible. The spread is exemplary, and every dish radiates the kind of care only seasoned hands can produce. We tried a variety of dosas, and each one somehow managed to steal the spotlight from the previous. Crispy, flavorful, and absolutely satisfying — they’ve raised the dosa bar so high it’s practically unreachable. What truly impressed us was their no-compromise philosophy on both quality and quantity — a balance that’s honestly refreshing in today’s dining scene.Usually, a masala dosa or oothappam leaves you debating a second round or negotiating spoonfuls with your friend. But here? One serving and you’re waving the white flag halfway through! The oothappam was generous enough to share, yet too good to split, and the cheese dosa had so much indulgence packed in that it could confidently moonlight as a gourmet pizza. The ambiance is calm, spacious, and perfect for families or groups looking for a fulfilling meal without the fuss. Plus, a heartfelt callout to the charming staff who insisted we try their filter coffee and boli — easily the best sweet farewell to a savory feast. In short, Pazhayidam Ruchi is not just a safe bet; it’s that rare place where your plate, palate, and heart all feel equally full. Vegetarian or not, you’ll leave here recommending it like a proud local. 🌿✨"
"A famous vegetarian household name in Kerala.
The food was a mixed experience
Onion oothappam, honey chilli potato, Hakka noodles, mango lassi, chocolate milk shake and the teas were all above average.
But the more awaited Ghee Roast left a lot to be off.
Service was great I have to say. The petit waitress on the 1st floor gave us a power packed service."

"Disappointed Experience at Pazhayidom Ruchi, Attakulangara
To the owner of the restaurant – I strongly suggest you personally visit and monitor your restaurant periodically. The quality of food and services clearly needs serious attention.
I visited this morning after temple visit with my family (wife, son, and myself) for breakfast, and unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience.
We ordered 2 sets of idli, but the idly and side dishes tasted very ordinary and lacked proper quality. Then we ordered cheese roast, first one plate, then later 2 more plates. It took a very long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the roast was not even hot. On top of that, additional curries were not provided properly despite repeated waiting.
The biggest issue was the poor service – suppliers were not much available and extremely slow, we had to wait endlessly, and several other families were also visibly irritated and complaining. Many customers were frustrated while paying bills, pointing out the same problems. Shockingly, there seemed to be no responsible staff or manager present to handle the situation.
Food taste was just average, nothing special to remember. A restaurant with such a good name and location should maintain far better standards. If the owner does not take immediate care of quality, food preparation, and service systems, this place may soon lose its reputation and even risk shutting down.
Overall, my expectations were completely failed. This was not the kind of experience I hoped for at Pazhayidom Ruchi."

"The food was tasty and hygienic, and the service by the staff was prompt and courteous. The ambience was peaceful, clean, and well-maintained, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. Prices were reasonable, offering good value for money. There’s also ample parking space available for about 5–6 cars, which is convenient. Overall, highly recommended!"
