"Adaminde Chayakada in Al Qusais is one of those places that feels special the moment you walk in. Instead of looking like a regular restaurant, it has been designed to resemble a traditional Kerala house, and the attention to detail is impressive. The wooden décor, roof-style elements and old-style furniture instantly give a homely feeling.
What really makes the ambience stand out is the collection of vintage items displayed around the restaurant. You’ll see old radios, clocks, lanterns, typewriters and other antiques that remind you of Kerala homes from earlier days. It almost feels like visiting a relative’s ancestral house rather than dining in a restaurant, and you can easily spend time just appreciating the décor.
The food also reflects Kerala’s rich heritage, with a strong focus on Calicut-style dishes. The flavors are balanced, mildly spiced and aromatic, just like the Malabar side is known for. Many items feel authentic and homely, not overly restaurant-style, which I really appreciated.
The ambience is relaxed, family-friendly and comfortable. The staff were polite and welcoming, and service felt warm without being rushed. Everything was clean and well maintained, which added to the overall good impression.
Adaminde Chayakada is not just about eating — it’s about the nostalgic atmosphere, traditional Kerala feel and tasty Calicut-style food. Definitely worth visiting if you enjoy Kerala culture and want something different from the usual restaurant experience."
"Visited Aadhaminde Chayakkada in Qusais and had a genuinely pleasant experience. The food is decent, tasty, and well-prepared, and what makes it even better is their reasonable pricing, which feels fair compared to many similar spots.
The highlight of the place is definitely the retro-style interior. The setup brings back nostalgic memories and gives a warm, old-school charm that makes the dining experience unique and enjoyable. It’s a great place to relax, have a chai, and enjoy the cozy vibes.
Overall, a nice spot for anyone looking for good food, good prices, and a nostalgic atmosphere. Highly recommended!"

"Had lunch with my family. As Malaysian, we are familiar with Indian food. We had the banana leaf and it was out of this world! Perfect blend of a variety of tastes, different flavours. Fresh and tasty. With the lime soda to wash the meal down. Do try it!"
"Recently visited and found the biriyani overpriced. Not worth the hype and promotions. The quantity of biriyani was very less. There was no masala in beef biriyani and the meat for beef and mutton was not tender. The prawns and neychoru was good 👍
Wouldn't recommend biriyani , other items like neychoru , erachi choru and gravies are good 👍"

"Update to the below incident : I was given a complimentary chatti chor after the incident mentioned below. Which was much better in quality
Got chatti chor(fish) disappointed as ...
It should contain a thoran , two side dishes like pachadi, and one single omelette and a fish fry, with etc (check with them)
But was it there??? Payar thoran was what I got , there was nothing enough for you to eat but see , I could literally count the number payarr in it(14 maybe lol) , achar?? No, not even enough to thottu nakkal 😑. Check the photo for proof 🤷 even you might able to count em!!!
And no sambar??? Like what!!!!?? Instead I got parippu kari that too with tomato??? Like who gets that when they order a south Indian chatti chor??? Fish fry couldn't even eat cause of the salt!!! Man!!
And moru , rasam and payasam on the side, where moru was adichu pathapicha ntho sadanam!
And guess what, checked with the restaurant, they are like , haha huuu, and no freaking solution to any of it!!!
Price : 19 AED , dude come one!! I should have gotten meals!! Was a fan of this restaurant, but ithrem disappoinment , OMG!!!!! 😑
Please be fair to customers guys!!! 🙏"
