"We recently ordered the Full Grill from Kerala Castle. The food quality was okay and the service staff were fine. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to other issues.
When we asked for extra sauce and mayonnaise, we were asked to pay extra charges, even after ordering a full grill. This was surprising because, based on my experience across many restaurants in the UAE, basic accompaniments like sauce or mayo are usually provided without extra charges.
Already the quantity the provide is not enough for a full grilled chicken. And if the want to make extra income by selling mayo and sauce,it's very disappointing.
When we questioned this, the cashier’s behavior was rude and dismissive. Instead of explaining politely, he insisted that “everywhere it’s like this,” which is simply not true.
Additionally, there was no soap in the washroom dispenser, which is a serious hygiene concern.
While the food and service staff were acceptable, the cashier’s attitude and unnecessary extra charges left a very negative impression. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves customer handling and basic hygiene standards."
"We had biriyani, appam, and beef curry at Kerala Castle. The food was delicious, full of authentic flavours, and served fresh. Definitely recommended for anyone looking to enjoy tasty Kerala cuisine!"
"Yesterday night (19/09/2025), I ordered a Zinger Burger from Kerala Castle. To my surprise, what I got was just a bun with a few crumbs of chicken inside nothing close to a real zinger. The chicken was so thin and dry that it was even difficult to swallow.
When I asked the staff, “Where is the zinger inside the burger?”, all I got was a fake smile and the reply “Zinger is like that.” Later, when I mentioned how hard it was to eat, the staff said “I will talk to the chef” but never came back.
👉 Maybe other dishes in the restaurant are good, but the first-time experience always decides whether a customer will return or not. And with this experience, it’s definitely a big NO.
❌ I do not recommend the Zinger Burger to anyone. It’s not up to the mark, the quality is poor, and you can’t even waste the food you’re forced to eat it just because you’ve paid for it. Honestly, for a 12 AED burger, shouting or calling again didn’t even feel worth it, so I just finished quietly and left the restaurant.
⚡ Think about it: after a whole tiring day, a person goes out to eat something of their choice and is ready to pay for it. But if in return they get almost nothing, how would that feel? On top of that, your mood gets spoiled too.
👉 My suggestion to the restaurant: if you cannot make a dish properly, remove it from the menu. And please, train your chef to prepare items the way they are supposed to be.
