"Apperances may be deceptive - this suits here very well...Don't get fooled by the outside apperance of the shop. Just the best ambience inside the restaurant and of course the food too. We ordered cream of mushroom soup and risotto rice bowl - wow, the dishes were extremely good. I would definitely recommend this as one of the best cafes in Coimbatore."

"Tried the Marry Me Chicken today… unfortunately, no wedding bells. The dish came with two wings that looked like they weren’t fully committed to being cooked. Mashed potatoes were decent moral support though. Also tried the Italian tiramisu, which was… let’s say, more “ciao” than “wow.” Ambiance? Just okay. You climb up to the second floor to reach the restaurant, which feels like a mini trek—reward not guaranteed. Overall: Not a bad place, but definitely not the “love at first bite” type. More like “we’re better as friends.”"

"Visited this place twice — purely for the food — and overall, it’s been a solid experience. The ambience is a big win. It has a classy English bar vibe with a relaxed outdoor setup that feels great for evening hangouts. That said, the approach to the café feels a bit sketchy, almost dungeon-like, which slightly kills the first impression. First Visit – Food Highlights 🍽️ Bombay Wings – Loved these. Tangy, lemony, pudina-heavy flavours with a proper desi kick. Mac & Cheese – Very creamy, but didn’t hit that authentic mac & cheese flavour for me. Fish & Chips – Hands down the best dish I had here. Perfectly beer-battered fish — crispy outside, soft and well-cooked inside. Absolutely nailed it. Biscoff Cheesecake – Out of the world. The caramelised Biscoff flavour, creamy cheesecake filling, and crust all worked beautifully together. Ginger Ale (in-house brew) – Surprisingly good and refreshing. Second Visit – Mixed Feelings 🍹 Sundowner Drink – Good, refreshing, no complaints. Bang Bang Prawns (Cajun sauce) – Super crunchy and well-seasoned, but the coating didn’t bind well to the prawns. Cajun à la Penne with Tex-Mex Skewers – Pasta was good. The skewered chicken didn’t pair well with the pasta but tasted fine when eaten separately. The bread served alongside wasn’t great. Jambalaya – Tasty with sausage, chicken, and prawns, but it was mentioned as an African dish and ended up tasting more Mexican, with strong salsa notes. Biscoff Cheesecake (again) – Still the show-stealer. Consistently excellent. Final Thoughts Great ambience, standout dishes like Fish & Chips and Biscoff Cheesecake, and a menu that mostly delivers. Some dishes could use better pairing and accuracy, but overall it’s a place worth revisiting — especially if you’re there for the food and vibe. ⭐ Rating: 4/5"

"My family and I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Britain to Bombay! From the unique fusion dishes to the retro-chic ambience, everything was top-notch. We started with the Italian Quesadillas—wrapped in a soft tortilla and served with creamy sour cream and salsa. The Tex-Mex Skewers were grilled to perfection, packed with flavour and just the right amount of smokiness. The spice level was mild and the dip was good. For the mains, the Grill Chicken Risotto was out of this world—creamy, rich, perfectly seasoned and really tasty. The thin-crust pizza was crispy and delicious, and while the Lasagna was tasty, it could have been served hotter. The highlight, however, was the Biscoff Cheesecake—so good that we ordered an extra one to take home! The retro 50’s music and vibe added such a fun, nostalgic touch to our meal. A special shout-out to Ms. Grace for her outstanding service—attentive, warm, and truly made our evening memorable. Despite the minor hiccup with the lasagna, Britain to Bombay delivered an exceptional dining experience. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommend! 🍴💛"
