"Visited for lunch with a few of my office colleagues who are regular to this place. Had an amazing experience with the food. Chicken stew, Mutton paya and Malabar parrota is what we ordered and both the gravy products had a unique and amazing flavour.
A strong coconut flavour in chicken stew was unique for me and mutton stew also had a rich and creamy flavour. To top it of we had coconut payassam which was really wonderful and unique, especially with the coconut pcs with jelly like texture. It was a genuinely interesting and amazing experience at this place. Must visit for non veg lovers."

"Hotel Crescent at Nungambakkam Chennai has been doing its deeds for very many years now. A good Kerala style cuisine along with the Arabian staples of grills and shawarmas at pocket friendly price tags are it's game order. The outlet is cramped and bustling during lunch hours. Standard seating with optimal usage of space is impressive. The service is swift and attentive.
Where they could make better is in their consistency. We have been dining here for ages and has been one of our favourite places to eat. The tastes are good but whats taken a beating is in their rendering. There's been a tad drop, as it were. The fish curry was hot and delicious but the portion of protein did not satiate. It was a mixed lump of tiny bits and pieces
The parotta and gravy, kizhi parotta and the cream of mutton soup were awesome. The caramel custard was a good swan song to an otherwise uneventful meal.
Just can only hope they ring in their past glory soon enough."

"I am a regular customer of crescent..But last week my roomate had a bad experience. He ordered barbeque. After eating some portion, he found 3-4 feather under the wings. He had reported it to supplier and chef also attended..He didn't make a scene and left the place.
I was shocked to learn that they don't even wash chicken once.
To management: Please don't compromise on hygeine standards. Take this as a lesson and go for quality improvement and re-sensitising staffs. One such mistake if comes out in open will be too costly"
