"Lived up to the hype, but wasn’t prepared for the wait. What to order/expect at this restaurant:
What we ordered:-
Malabar Biryani (blown away by it! So so good and unique, but make sure to share it between 2)
Thaliva (10/10 dosa did not disappoint; great texture)
Gandhara Guddi (pretty much the same - good, but couldn’t tell the difference), Malleshwaram stuffed idli (10/10 for a snack - 2 idli in 1 serving and glad we ordered it on the side to try before the mains)
Drinks: Coonoor is gingery and Mahabalvipuram is orange based (both are crafted mocktails, both excellent!!)
Pros:
1. Flavours (wow! Worth the hype)
2. service (the servers were always ready to help, no matter what we needed)
3. ambience (you forget that you’re near Punjab)
4. authentic menu (it made to introduce food from south Indian cuisine that Chandigarh wasn’t exposed to before)
5. Drinks (blown away by how simple yet refreshing they were)
6. PRICES (table of 3 for lunch on a Sunday - spent 2k including everything for a satisfying meal with leftovers packed)
7. Heaven for vegetarians! (No non-veg served)
Cons/be prepared:
1. Wait on weekends. Expect to be seated 20/30 mins after you arrive outside the restaurant, simply because it’s popular, but I saw people being okay with waiting to be seated for lunch at 3:30pm
2. Washroom (just one, in a restaurant for about 50, and unclean)
3. Ghee/oil (I don’t know if this is because of the food being authentic, or if it’s the chef’s choice, but the food had more ghee than my table was used to, and we weren’t fans of that)
4. Some items taking longer than expected (the biryani took 25 mins)
Conclusion: pros outweigh the cons, so expect me to return very soon! Thank you"
"Disappointed food that might look good but doesn't taste well at all. The thatte idli's portion size was too small and the idli itself was not soft. The dosa was okay but for a 'malleshwaram speacial' dosa costing ₹320, i would expect better flavours.
The staff mentioned that another special, the idli steamed in coconut shell would have notes of coconut but it was the same firm idli batter.
They've opened a second outlet in Sector 35 already but with a quality like this, I'm not sure how well it can sustain. The service was also slow and unsatisfactory."

"Enjoyed a Family brunch & taste of items we ordered were not too typical as already available within tricity . A little different & on better side .
Food quality was very Good . Service was exceptional , above all Kid enjoyed the taste we tried different dosa which had paneer or mushroom or Rava type & idli's of different varieties . Presentation was exceptional along with being delicious . Personally for any south Indian in Place in north I feel quantity of idli's does not do justice to value paid .
For Entry towards the main door from parking need to improve Acess For elderly or disabled's .
A little heavy on pocket then usual though expected being located at such a posh market .
Thank you for good vibes ."
