"I had ordered veg meals and pazhampori today (20th Dec 2025) noon. The packaging was not okay as the curries had some leak from the plastic cover packaging. The overall packaging was not good. Containers could have been used. Add the price of the containers if needed. No one would prefer curries spilled over the cover. The food was again not okay. I had dined in at this restaurant once. The ambience and food was okay then. The delivery I received was a bad experience. The kerala rice was cooked well, the sambar was average, payasam was decent, the moru curry was fine, the cabbage thoran was decent, I was disappointed with the aviyal. The veggies in the aviyal other than the coconut mix was not cooked. Felt very much raw. Today was my birthday and thought of having a decent Kerala meal with payasam. But it turned out to be a disaster.
One common thing I observed is that almost all the Kerala restaurants in Bangalore are not consistent with the food quality. One day it's too good then other day it becomes worst. Comparatively Tamil restaurants and Andhra restaurants serve food with consistent quality and their ambience is also good. Atleast we can expect what is available and how it tastes like. Adding a plus point here, one good thing in Kerala restaurants worth mentioning is porotta and beef is constant. The porottas are flaky and beef is well cooked. I wouldn't recommend veg meals, meals and even Kerala biriyanis here in Bangalore."

"New Kairali Family Restaurant is a typical Kerala style restaurant located near Jyothi school, Aravinda Nagar, Kammanahalli. We went for the lunch here with my friends. There's a renovation work going on outside along with the road expansion but the Restaurant is open and looks so good inside. There is no much crowd on the Sunday afternoon. We had veg meals which is unlimited with fish curry, sambar, mor curry and vegetables sides, seer fish fry, netholi fish fry. We liked the brown rice meals and fish fry very much. Their service and atmosphere is also good. They accept both cash, UPI and card payments. Take away and online order delivery is also available. Road side parking is available."

"MY FIRST TASTE of AUTHENTIC KERALA CHICKEN BIRYANI
For our first dinner in Bangalore, we were brought to New Kairali Restaurant by our host. I wasn’t expecting much. The place wasn’t particularly decent-looking - more like a simple canteen, the kind you’d find in a street corner in the Philippines. But I ended up having what might be the best Chicken Biryani I’ve tasted so far.
When the dish arrived, it looked like just a plain mound of Basmati rice in a bowl. I actually asked where the chicken was - but our host smiled and said, “Just eat it—you’ll see.” Sure enough, buried beneath the layers of fragrant rice was tender, flavorful chicken, cooked using the “dum” method, where the meat and rice are slow-cooked together to infuse the flavors.
I can’t say for sure if this is the best Chicken Biryani in all of Bangalore, but it definitely set the bar high. I’ve tried Chicken Biryani in places like Puerto Princesa and Cebu, but they don’t come close. What stood out in Bangalore was the deep, complex flavor of the spices and herbs-rich, aromatic, and unforgettable. And as for the other dishes we ordered, they were all equally tasty."
"10/10 for both food and service! We had ordered Sadhya for a group, it tasted amazing, was packed with care, and delivered right on time ."
